How to write lowercase x in semi-joined handwriting
In semi-joined handwriting, x is written with 2 strokes. Start on the red dot marked 1 and follow the numbers.
Step by step
- Stroke 1: start at the middle line, on the left and go down and to the right.
- Stroke 2 (after the whole word): start at the middle line, on the right and go down and to the left.
x is a zig-zag letter: it is made of straight diagonal lines.
In semi-joined writing most letters join to the next one; after b, f, g, j, p, q, s and y you leave a small gap instead.
