How to write lowercase x in cursive (joined handwriting)
In joined (cursive) handwriting, x is written with 2 strokes. Start on the red dot marked 1 and follow the numbers.
Step by step
- Stroke 1: start at the middle line, on the left and go down and to the right.
- Stroke 2 (after the whole word): start at the middle line, on the right and go down and to the left.
x is a zig-zag letter: it is made of straight diagonal lines.
In joined (cursive) writing, x joins to the letters around it. Dots and crossbars are added after the whole word.
