How to write lowercase x in print

In print handwriting, x is written with 2 strokes. Start on the red dot marked 1 and follow the numbers.

Step by step

  1. Stroke 1: start at the middle line, on the left and go down and to the right.
  2. Stroke 2: start at the middle line, on the right and go down and to the left.

x is a zig-zag letter: it is made of straight diagonal lines.

This is the print (precursive) form taught in UK schools: separate letters with small exit flicks that make joining easier later.
