The biggest the letters get. They shrink a little so each line fits on one row; longer ones split into even rows.

Tip: in the print dialog choose A4 and turn off headers and footers.

How to use the tracing worksheets

Children first look at the model row, where every stroke's start is numbered, then trace the grey letters, then the dotted letters, and finally write it on their own on the blank line.

Set how many rows of each kind every line gets: more blank lines for extra practice, or only blank lines for a spelling test. For a single letter or a short word, “Repeat short words to fill the line” fills each row. The QR code opens the same words as a stroke-by-stroke animation on a phone or tablet.
