How to write lowercase i in semi-joined handwriting
In semi-joined handwriting, i is written with 2 strokes. Start on the red dot marked 1 and follow the numbers.
Step by step
- Stroke 1: start at the middle line, in the middle and go straight down.
- Stroke 2: add the dot.
i is a long ladder letter: start at the top and go straight down, then flick out.
In semi-joined writing most letters join to the next one; after b, f, g, j, p, q, s and y you leave a small gap instead.
