How to write capital E in print

In print handwriting, capital E is written with 4 strokes. Start on the red dot marked 1 and follow the numbers.

The letter shape comes from the Playwrite font; numbers show where each stroke starts.

Step by step

  1. Stroke 1: start at the top line, on the left and go straight down.
  2. Stroke 2: start at the top line, on the left and go to the right.
  3. Stroke 3: start at the middle line, on the left and go to the right.
  4. Stroke 4: start on the baseline, on the left and go to the right.

This is the print (precursive) form taught in UK schools: separate letters with small exit flicks that make joining easier later.
