How to write lowercase z in cursive (joined handwriting)
In joined (cursive) handwriting, z is written in one stroke. Start on the red dot and keep going without lifting your pencil.
Step by step
- Stroke 1: start at the middle line, on the left and go round clockwise.
z is a zig-zag letter: it is made of straight diagonal lines.
In joined (cursive) writing, z joins to the letters around it. Dots and crossbars are added after the whole word.
