How to write lowercase t in cursive (joined handwriting)

In joined (cursive) handwriting, t is written with 2 strokes. Start on the red dot marked 1 and follow the numbers.

Step by step

  1. Stroke 1: start halfway up, in the middle and go straight down.
  2. Stroke 2 (after the whole word): start at the middle line, on the left and go to the right.

t is a long ladder letter: start at the top and go straight down, then flick out.

In joined (cursive) writing, t joins to the letters around it. Dots and crossbars are added after the whole word.
