How to write lowercase l in cursive (joined handwriting)
In joined (cursive) handwriting, l is written in one stroke. Start on the red dot and keep going without lifting your pencil.
Step by step
- Stroke 1: start at the top line, in the middle and go straight down.
l is a long ladder letter: start at the top and go straight down, then flick out.
In joined (cursive) writing, l joins to the letters around it. Dots and crossbars are added after the whole word.
